Yes, the power has gone out again at the church and the parsonage.

So, I’m cancelling every meeting and activity at church until Sunday.

We’re praying that by Sunday everything will be better.

Last night our power turned on. So our schedule is back to normal:

Bible Study, Wednesday night at 7 PM.
Bible Study, Thursday morning at 9 AM.
Council Meeting, Thursday night at 7 PM.

There will be no activities on Sunday. we are buried in snow and without power.

Ash Wednesday is quickly approaching. And with it we prepare for Easter by seeing our sin, our need for a Savior and the gracious work Jesus accomplished for us. Our theme this Lent season is: What do you think of Christ? We look forward to walking in the path of suffering and salvation along with you this Lent season. Here is our schedule:

Yep, I’m still sick. So there will be no Epiphany Service on Wednesday night and no bible study on Thursday morning. There will be a Sunday morning Service with bible study (even if you have to prop me up in the pulpit, there will be a Divine Service on Sunday morning!).

I have both the flu and pink eye. So, I am canceling the New Year’s Eve service. I apologize for this. But, hopefully, I’ll be ready to go by Sunday.

The weather in the area surrounding our church is pretty bad (really icy). Up here on the hill it’s not that bad at all. But everywhere else it’s pretty bad. So, we’ll reschedule our Children’s Christmas Service till next week. Our bible studies today (at noon and at 6 PM are canceled).

Advent has come. We prepare for our Savior’s second arrival by reflecting on his first arrival. We welcome you to set aside time with us this Advent season to prepare our hearts for Christ. Here is our schedule during the Advent/Christmas Season:

On Wednesday, November 25th, at 7 PM, we’ll gather together for our Thanksgiving Eve service. Please join us as we set aside time to remember and reflect on all the good our Savior has done for us and given to us.
