It has snowed outside.  And it’s not the nice, manageable snow.  It’s ugly.  So, I’m canceling bible study for tonight.  We’ll pick it up again next week.

The pastor of our sister congregation in Gibsonia, PA, Sam Hacker has received a call to be the pastor at our WELS congregation in Port Huron, MI.  Please keep him in your prayers as he deliberates on his call. 

We will be gathering together on Wednesday, February 25th, at 7 PM to begin the season of lent.  On Ash Wednesday we remember that the Lord told Adam “Dust you are, and to dust you will return.”  It is our time to prepare our minds and hearts for Easter as our Savior taught us to:  “repent, for the kingdom of God is near”. Please join us, as we set aside time from the business of our lives to build our faith on Jesus.   

On Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14th) we are hosting an event for our children.  We are calling it:  Jesus Loves You.  This is our opportunity to speak about God’s love for them.  We will start at noon and end at 3 PM.  We invite you to bring your children  to this event (and feel free to stay yourselves!). 

Due to the snow, there is no bible study tonight.
