Our Sister Congregation In Strongsville Ohio is hosting a Women’s retreat. The dates and times are Friday, November 2nd (at 3 PM) to November 3rd, 2007 (at 3 PM).


The cost would be $100. They ask that the first $50 be paid by August 12th.

Thank you to all who helped out in our Vacation Bible School. What a great joy it was to see so many people using the time and gifts God has given them to serve others! It was a wonderful privilege for us to share Jesus with the parents and children of our community.

Hello 20-30 Somethings Group,

We are going hiking! –At at Damsite!

Our next outing is on Saturday, July 28th. We’ll Meet at Yellow Creek State Park at the trail head for “Damsite Trail” at 9 AM.

So, here’s the agenda:

• 9 AM: we arrive and go hiking
• 11 AM to 12 PM we are done hiking
• 12 PM: Eat
• 1 to 1:15 PM: poke sticks at Pastor Hacker after he falls asleep
• 1:15 to whenever: SWIMMING AT BEACH

What should you bring?

• Food: (We will provide hotdogs and/or hamburgers) Chips, Drinks, Salad/side-dish stuff, Desert
• Clothing: please bring clothing appropriate for the weather; nice hiking boots (wool socks would be better than cotton), Water Bottles (with water in them), rain gear (check weather ahead of time), swim suits (for swimming at the beach afterward). Sunscreen (?–I don’t know how much we’ll be in the trees or not during the hike)
